Interpretation of Data:

  • students are using technology in all content areas
  • Even though students didn’t like to use technology for note taking, that use received the second most votes for wanting to use it
  • students LOVE technology and want to use it for every purpose
  • This data also shows the importance of continually training teachers to integrate technology. Lack of training could be the reason that teachers are not using the newest technology with their students; blogging, audacity, and Bubble.us.
  • Students felt like they disliked using technology for note taking, however, at the most, 21.7% percent of students said that they’d actually used a note taking tool to take notes.
